Inspiration Behind the Art:
This still life was painted at my dining room table during the early days of the Covid-19 stay-at-home orders. As a result of my life and art-making being confined to the same small space, I found inspiration in the objects I saw everyday. Within these simple subjects there is a world of detail and beauty to appreciate. I was reminded that everything is worthy of a close look, and I hope my paintings can provide that some reminder to their viewers.
